Meltdown
This legendary Scooterist Weekender took place from 2013-2024 in the unique location Wunderland Kalkar in Germany and quickly achieved cult status. After a change of ownership in 2024, the event could unfortunately no longer be continued.
Highlights were the large, international Custom & Trade Show, the value for money all-in deals, three nighters on four floors, three live bands and much more.
The Event
The Scooterist Meltdown was quite oustanding in many respects.
The location in a former nuclear power station that was never connected created an absolutely unique atmosphere.
We filled the entire area, including a hotel with 1000 beds, several exhibition halls and party venues.
In the end, 1600 international visitors attended the event every year.
The unbeatable all-in deals, which included accommodation as well as all meals and drinks, were also exceptional.
The heart of the Scooterist Meltdown was the international Custom & Trade Show, which set new standards with over 70 international trade exhibitors and specialists from all over the world.
The programme followed the best Scooterist tradition.
In 3 locations (Main Room, Indie Room & Ska-Bar) you could listen to the finest Northern Soul, R'n'B, Ska, Reggae, Madchester & Brit Pop as well as Alternative Tunes. Three live bands got the guests going on Friday and Saturday.
The hotel bar was also available for chilling or bowling.
On Sunday, we wrapped up the party weekend with a bowling competition, a wine tasting and a cult film in the Wunderland cinema.
Custom & Trade Show
The heart of the Scooterist Meltdown was the international Custom & Trade Show.
In three exhibition halls, over 70 international scooter specialists from all over the world presented innovations, special parts and everything else a scooterist's heart desires.
The most unique and outstanding scooters from all over Europe were on display in a large custom show.
On Saturday, guests were treated to a packed programme with dealer stands, custom show, live band, Major Power Awards, dyno runs, fungames, trophies, raffle and much more.
